First Great Western Castle Class 255 with Class 43 powers cars No. 43029 Caldicot Castle and 43005 St Michael's Mount arrive at Cardiff Central on 7th September 2022, with the 12.50 service from Penzance. Newly formed four carriage HST sets known as Class 255 Castle class now operate First Great Western local and regional services in the south west. This service has taken nearly six hours to cover the roughly 230 miles from Penzance with 34 intermediate calling points en route.
