The Old Kiln Light Railway, based at the Rural Life Museum in Tilford Surrey celebrated its 40th Anniversary with a gala over the weekend of 10/11th September 2022. The Railway's just overhauled 0-6-0WT, 'Elouise' built by Orenstein and Koppel in 1922 arrives at the end of the line at Mills Wood with a train from Reeds Road Halt on 11th September. on the left waiting to take the return working is 'Emmet'an 0-4-0T on loan to the Railway from the Moors Valley Railway. This locomotive was converted to steam power in 2005 using the frame from a 1937 built Orenstein and Koppel diesel locomotive and the cylinders from a steam crane.
