Darkness falls over the splendid train shed of Bristol Temple Meads which is in the process of undergoing extensive renovation. Here, GWR Class 43 No. 43156 and classmate No. 43155 prepare to depart the station with the 15:13 Taunton-Cardiff Central working on 1st December 2022. These highly acclaimed HSTs are due to be phased out on a number of GWR operated services over the coming months after giving over 40 years of good service since the mid-1970s.
