With the very last remnants of autumnal colour just visible in the distance 'DCR' Class 60 No. 60029 'Ben Nevis' approaches the village of Iron Acton while hauling the 07:51 Appleford-Tytherington quarry empties on 16th December 2022. At this location, the low morning sun pierces through the avenue of trees but has not risen enough to burn off low lying frost left over from previous night.
