June 2023 marks the 45th anniversary of SR N15 Class 30777 Sir Lamiel and BR Class 71 71001 leaving storage at Ashford and starting restoration. Here on 23rd June 1978 Sir Lamiel stands in Bromley South Up Siding during a pause in its journey to Hull for restoration. 71001 is out of shot in front of Sir Lamiel.
