Class A2 No. A2.884 Stephenson (named after the valve gear used) 4-6-0 broad gauge locomotive was built in 1913 at Newport Workshops for express passenger use and lasted until 1963. No. A2.884, next to Class H No. H220 4-8-4, is seen at the Newport Railway Museum, Melbourne Australia, on 11th April 2023.
