LNER A3 Pacific No. 60103 Flying Scotsman at Beningbrough en-route Pickering on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway with the Royal Train. The locomotive had gone onto the train in York Holgate Loop replacing the Class 67 and departed there at 0552. The locomotive is celebrating 100 years and the NYMR 50 years in the preservation era. The sun is breaking through the early morning mist and with no wind the smoke drops down over the train. The locomotive has been given a white cab roof as Stratford locomotives did when working the Royal Train on 12th June 2023.
