Great Western Railway Castle class No. 7029 'Clun Castle' passes Sandy on 7th October 2023 heading a Vintage Trains charter from King's Cross to Lincoln via Peterborough and Spalding. The special originated at Coleshill Parkway and ran via the West Coast main line and the North London line to Hornsey, then reversing to King's Cross.
