Their working lives at an end, Midland Railway 0-6-0T No. 41708 leads a line of nine stored shunting tanks at Canklow (41D) MPD, having been made redundant from either Staveley Barrow Hill (41E) or Langwith Junction (41J), photographed on 24th June 1966. All were officially withdrawn at the end of the year, with No. 41708 being restored and located at Barrow Hill Roundhouse.
