Two locomotives stand facing each other on Bristol Temple Meads on 9th August 1984. Class 47 No. 47240 waits with a rake of empty coaching a stock while Class 33 No. 33027 Earl Mountbatten of Burma has arrived with the 08.05 service from Portsmouth Harbour. No. 47240 which became No. 47818 is stored at Eastleigh while No. 33027 was withdrawn in July 1991.
