In Greater Anglia revenue service since mid-December this is the first time that Aventra Class 720 No. 720502 has been allocated to the Harwich branch line and here on 21st February 2025 it is departing Harwich International with 11.26 Harwich Town - Manningtree. It worked in with 06.30 London Liverpool St - Harwich Town, before taking 08.14 to Colchester 08.44 Colchester - Harwich Town, and then commencing the hourly branch service with 09.26.
