On 1st March 2025, LMS Stanier Class 5 4-6-0 No. 45212 heads 'The Mancunian' day excursion from Manchester Victoria to Holyhead through Sandycroft. Class 47 No. 47802 is on the rear. Due to earlier delays, at this point the excursion was 28 mins late, eventually arriving at Holyhead 50 mins late.
