Normally routed via Carlisle and the Tyne Valley line, recents has seen the empty gypsum working from New Biggin routed south via the Aire Valley to stable at Stourton in Leeds. On 15th March 2025 Freightliner Class 66/5 No. 66569 Gerald ‘The Rule Book' Riley heads through Gargrave with the 10.49 New Biggin - Stourton empty bogie box wagons.
