On 11th April 2025, on day one of the Llangollen Railway Branch Line Gala weekend, British Rail built diesel hydraulic Class 14 'Teddy Bear' No. D9525 runs around its train at Glyndyfdwy after arriving from Llangollen. Although BR built, D9525 spent the bulk of it's working life in various collieries around Yorkshire and the North east.
