CrossCountry Class 170 No. 170636, working a Stanstead Airport to Birmingham New Street service, stands awaiting clearance to pass a signal temporarily fixed to danger, to the west of Whittlesea station. The more observant viewer May notice that there is no arm on the signal it having been stolen! It was also noticed that when the train was given clearance and moved forward the green crossing light did not change to red until the train was on the crossing.
