On 10th May 2025, British Rail built, now operated by Locomotive services Ltd, Class 47 No. 47810/D1924 'Crewe Diesel Depot' acts as the support locomotive at the rear of a Steam Dreams excursion from Horsham; No. 70000 'Britannia' headed the excursion into Chester. 47810 will now take the train including No. 70000 back to Crewe HS before returning later for the return to Horsham.
