In late May a series of overnight tests were undertaken on the OLE on the GWML. The test train travelled from Loughborough Brush to Swindon via Banbury. On 26th May 2025, the 19:44 Swindon Transfer to Reading leg of the diagram passes Compton Beauchamp. Class 43 No. 43301 heads the test train with classmate No. 43303 trailing. Class 91/1 No. 91117 located in the middle of the formation makes a noteworthy sight on this route.
