On 11th June 2025, Class 66/4 No. 66429 leaves the single line at Kingussie and continues south with the 13:37 Inverness Freight Sidings to Coatbridge. The pathway for this service is not ideal as it stands at Aviemore for nearly one hour and at Kingussie for twenty minutes to cross northbound passenger services.
