On the afternoon of the 27th June 2025 0-6-0 ST Newstead set Kelling bank on fire blocking the line onwards to Holt. Passengers at Weybourne were led across the track to catch the Railbus No. E79960 that was now doing a shuttle service back and forward to Sheringham for them to catch a bus to Holt.
