On 10th July 2025, South Marston footbridge provides a viewing platform as 'Western' No. D1015, Class 46 No. 46045 and 'Warship' No. D821 pass with the 08:38 Kidderminster SVR to Alton. This 'light engine' movement was routed via West Ealing, Mitre Bridge Junction, Barnes and Woking presumbly due to locomotive route availability restrictions.
