On 25th July 2025, the first day of the GWR Summer Diesel Gala, home based Class 45 No. 45149 is about to depart from Broadway with a service for Cheltenham Racecourse. The fine signal box was built to the design of the box at Shirley, and although not used in the seven years since the station opened, activation work has recently been undertaken.
