The Esquimalt and Nanaimo Railway (E and N Railway) on Vancouver Island ran a daily passenger service from Victoria to Courtenay until 2011 before being controversially mothballed due to the run-down of the infrastructure. The track bed is almost fully intact and there are still hopes that the railway will reopen. This is the Palmer Fort-Victoria halt, seen on 17th June 2025.
