On 21st August 2025, Direct Rail Services Class 88/0 No. 88001 'Revolution' and DRS Class 68/0 No. 68003 'Astute' head a single nuclear flask along the River Dee estuary wall from Valley Nuclear Electric through to Crewe Coal Sidings (DRS). Nuclear flask movements along the North Wales line have become very infrequent in recent years, and this is possibly the first this calendar year.
