West Coast Railways Class 57 No. 57009 'G J Churchward' passes Copmanthorpe on 17th August 2025 heading 'The Waverley', a Railway Touring Co charter from York to Carlisle. The special was originally booked for steam haulage throughout, however, the Class 57 worked as far as Hellifield where Southern Pacific No. 34067 took over the train.
