On 6th September 2025 Transport for Wales Class 158/0 No. 158818 and 158834 speed passed Prestatyn Golf Course near Gronant, with the 15:30 from Holyhead to Birmingham International. Class 158 units still work along the North Wales coast line, but their duty turns are becoming fewer with the continued introduction of the Class 197 units.
