GBRailfreight has outshopped its latest Class 69 locomotive, bearing one of the popular BR 1980s liveries.
Class 69 No. 69015, the penultimate member of the class numerically, but in reality the final member of the class to enter traffic, was released from the paintshop at Eastleigh Works on 26th August carrying a modernised version of the Railfreight grey red-stripe colour scheme, that was introduced in the mid-1980s. In a nod to its previous life, the locomotive also features its former Class 56 locomotive on the cab ends.
The work has been undertaken by Arlington Fleet Services (AFS), with the livery design completed, as ever, by Bob Tiller at GBRf, with assistance from Carl Watson at AFS.
