Diverted via the Chiltern line and the West Midlands due to engineering work at Rugby and on the Trent Valley route, Class 57/3 No. 57303 "Alan Tracy" on the 1Z96 Willesden-Warrington mail service stands at Bescot Stadium on 26th August 2008 having been failed by the driver with low power. After waiting for an hour the loco was taken away to Oxley by classmate No. 57305 "John Tracy" which had been on standby duty at Birmingham New Street, before the Class 325 units, 325002 & 325008 continued north under their own power
