HVLE No 185 640, in the Kalk works at Rubeland, prepares to depart for Rubeland Bf where its sister loco No 185 641 will attach to the rear for the working to Blankenburg the 15th May 2009. Electric locos have only recently returned to the goods only line in the Harz after local conservation groups headed a campaign for the diesels to be replaced.
