The Cheltenham Festival began on Tuesday 16th March 2010. First Great Western, Cross Country and Arriva Trains Wales ran additional and higher capacity services to the Gloucestershire Spa town than normal. The Tote Special ran from London Euston using the two 'Royal' class 67's. Having dropped of the race goers, No. 67006 'Royal Sovereign' heads the return ECS working from Gloucester to Worcester where the train will form the evening return working. The location is Churchdown Hill near Gloucester with May Hill prominent in the distance.
