An unidentified Class 185 DMU is seen about to head into the gloom of Standedege tunnel at Marsden. Opened in 1894, the tunnel is 3 miles and 60 yards in length and was the last of the three tunnels to be completed. One of the other two single bore tunnels (hidden by foliage etc) is used as an emergency escape route for the other tunnels. The disused tunnels were opened in 1848 and 1871 on 14th August 2010.
