It is almost six months since the opening of Ashley Down station being located roughly mid point between Stapleton Road and Filton Abbey Wood. In this view, the early afternoon sun pierces through leafless trees illuminating the 13:29 Wentlooge-Southampton intermodal service with 'Powwerhaul' Class 70 No. 70015 providing the motive power on a cold and sunny 11th March 2025.
