The 21st May 2009 marked the inauguration of passenger services through the Aberglaslyn Pass on the Welsh Highland Railway. The first passenger service conveyed invited guests and local dignitaries but a second train was run in the afternoon from Beddgelert to Hafod-y-Llyn and return for locals. Here headed by Garratts No. 87 & 143 it ambles down grade between Cemetry Crossing and Bryn-y-Felin on 21st May 2009.
