The closure of the southern end of the Cumbrian Coast Line due to the reconstruction of Arnside Viaduct over the River Kent has resulted in all nuclear flask traffic for Sellafield from the south being routed over the WCML via Carlisle. No. 37601 with 20308&20309 dead in train and one nuclear flask growls through Oxenholme station on 6C53 6.30 Crewe-Sellafield on 12th July 2011.
