On 15th September 2012, The Hastings Diesel Group, in conjunction with the Dean Forest Railway diesel gala, ran the 'Western Forester' charter from Hastings to Lydney Junction. On arrival, the train ran several trips between Norchard Crossing and Parkend. Here, Class 202 DMBSO 60118 'Tunbridge Wells' is seen arriving at Norchard Crossing high-level with the 14:25 from Parkend. Although numbered 1001, it was originally numbered 1013 and 202001, but currently shows 1001, as originally used by the Class 201 DMBSO that provides power on the other end of the 6-car Hastings 'Thumper' unit.
