Saturday Seventies: the Ely to Peterborough line in Cambridgeshire sees a high number of regular freight workings, but usually offers little more in the way of locomotive variety than endless shades of Class 66's, so the sight of Freightliner Class 70's on Saturday workings, diverted because of engineering works on the GEML, has been a welcome development. Here, Class 70 No. 70019 heads through Manea with the diverted 4M20 Felixstowe to Lawley Street working on a rather damp Saturday 3rd November 2012.
