Built for the Liverpool and Manchester Railway in 1838/9 Lion now resides in the Museum of Liverpool at Pier Head. It came to fame in fairly recent times as the star of the Ealing Studies comedy film 'The Titfield Thunderbolt', seen here on 8th November 2012.
