To celebrate the 75th anniversary of LNER A4 class Pacific No. 4468 'Mallard' breaking the world steam record, which she still holds today, the National Railway Museum re-united all six surviving A4's, which were put on public display at the 'Great Gathering' event for a two week period in July. On the opening day on 3rd July 2013, the six are seen from the turntable in the great hall at the NRM. The locomotives are, from left to right, No's 60007 'Sir Nigel Gresley', 60008 'Dwight D. Eisenhower', 60009 'Union of South Africa', 4464 'Bittern', 4468 'Mallard' and 4489 'Dominion of Canada'.
