Network Rail's Class 31 No. 31233, fited with high intensity lights for infrastructure inspection, propels Network Rail coaches No's. 9523 and 999606 (ultrasonic testing) with DBSO No. 9714 leading, and passes Spondon with 10:13 Derby RTC to Hither Green test train on 2nd August 2013. Unfortunately the train was cancelled at Loughborough with a problem with traction equipment.
