An unidentified Arriva Trains Wales Class 175 flies over Chirk Viaduct with 1V96, the 12:32 Holyhead to Maesteg service on Tuesday 22nd April 2014. Robertson purposely built the viaduct 30 foot higher than Telford's Aquaduct to illustrate the emerging dominance of the railways over the canals.
