Following problems with the Network Measurement Train and its involvement with an OHLE incident, a substitute trainset was hastily arranged using top and tail Class 67s. On 27th August 2014, the substitute raced through Acton Bridge working a Craigentinny CS - Crewe CS service operated with Nos. 67003 and 67020 in top n tail mode.
