A very rare sighting occurred on 15th September 2014 when HN Rail-liveried Class 20 No. 20311 and GBRf-liveried Classmate No. 20905 were paired nose to cab when hauling the 12:30 Old Dalby to Ruislip LUL S tube stock working. Here seen passing Branston Class 20s No. 20314 and 20901 were paired in the usual nose to nose combination at the rear. Earlier on this working a fitter was sent from Barrow Hill to Moira to remedy an air pipe problem on No. 20901, and later the train was halted for the day at Banbury.
