Although Class 60s are a regular sight in the Bristol area hauling various oil and steel diagrams, it's rare for them to be seen at Bristol Temple Meads. However, on a glorious 21st March 2015, DBS Class 60 No. 60040 'The Territorial Army Centenary' belches exhaust while powering through Bristol Temple Meads atop the delayed 01:47 Warrington Arpley-Portbury Dock empty car train. The twin towers of the Bristol & Exeter building are visible directly above the locomotive.
