Class 68 No. 68016 heads back up the gradient from Tebay working the 09:42 Carlisle N.Y to Shap Summit Quarry running some 175 minutes late, having made it as far as Tebay 68016 was involved in the rescue of two DBS Class 90's working the China Clay Dollands Moor Sidings to Caledonian paper working which got into difficulty in the Oxenholme area. The DRS class 68 went to the rescue and managed to assist the freight working into Grayrigg Loop where it waited assistance from 90037 which went south to finally haul what became a triple headed set of 90's northwards. No. 68016 returned back to Tebay to collect its own Network Rail wagons, finally gets back to its own working.
