Churchward 2-8-0T No. 4270 pictured at a very wet Toddington on 21st May 2016. Built at Swindon in 1919 for work on South Wales coal trains, the locomotive was withdrawn from Cardiff East Dock shed on 30th September 1962 and, like many others, transferred to Woodhams at Barry. Acquired for preservation, restoration began in 2003 and the locomotive finally ran again in 2014.
