On 21st March 2018, Class 37 No. D6948 became the first diesel locomotive ever to work a diesel hauled passenger train to call at Broadway station (the station closed in 1960). It is seen here waiting to return to Toddington with the last of the Shareholder and Supporters specials on the re-opening day. Fittingly, the locomotive carried the head codes of the route's only express passenger train - The Cornishman - 09:00 Wolverhampton Low Level-Penzance and 10:30 Penzance-Wolverhampton Low Level.
