The Budapest Childrens Railway, is a narrow-gauge railway running for 7 miles in the Buda Hills, to the west of the city. It was built from 1948 and is largely operated by children under adult supervision, although the trains are driven by adults. No. MK45-2002, a Faur, Romanian-built diesel-hydraulic locomotive dating from 1972 is seen departing the terminus on 16th September 2018.
