British Railways Class 73 locomotive No. 73210 Selhurst in the yard at Wirksworth on the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway in Derbyshire on 29th December 2018. The locomotive was constructed in 1965 by Vulcan Foundry at Newton-le-Willows as an electro-diesel locomotive for the Southern region of British Railways. It was withdrawn in the mid-2000s and arrived at the EVR in April 2018 to operate passenger services on the line, albeit only in diesel mode.
