A Class 104 DMU heading towards Wigan Wallgate with a service from Manchester Victoria to Southport, passes a Class 101 DMU heading for Liverpool Lime Street via Brynn at Wigan North Western, sometime in 1984. There were no exhaust emissions regulations then!
