This non standard North Eastern Railway Signal box at Knaresborough was built in 1873 and has a McKenzie & Holland 12 lever frame. It controls the double line to Starbeck (towards Harrogate); the other direction (to Cattal, in the York direction) is a single line and controlled by electronic signalling system, on 20th August 2021.
