Virgin Liveried Class 43 No. 43193 'Plymouth Spirit of Discovery' comes off the Erewash Valley line at Clay Cross heading the 0900 St Pancras to Manchester Piccadilly 'Project Rio' service on 7th June 2003. These services ran during the refurbishment of the WCML and provide many varied formations and liveries.
